Early Christian Scholars were pretty clear about this- the bible isn't meant to be taken literally. It's filled with metaphors that are meant to distill wisdom. Check out Jordan Peterson's Biblical Series on youtube for a great explanation.

I do however believe in some sort of theism since science/evolution still cant account for the complexity of life. Sure evolution is true to an extent, but it doesn't explain the origin of life, cambrian explosion or where all the new genetic information came from.

In one point Marx was true, religion is opium for the people!

But to really mess up things you need need organized religion, aka churches, mosks, temples.

You want to learn how to control masses, learn from churches!

Religion is part of our society and government and to some extent controlling it!

IMO: Religious organizations are bs. Ad a child I was was dragged to church( Baptist/Catholic), and then as teen my family went less and less so I decided to go to church my self (Latter Day Saints- General Christian), and then finally as an adult I decided it wasn't for me. I noticed alot of church people get this uppity/snobbishness about them. I believe in the good book, but I don't believe you need religion to live by it. I also noticed alot people claim to be religous, but they would go agaisnt the bible for convenience, and or they would habitual commit sin because "Jesus died for their sins". Which is true, but its not a get out a jail free card like most people use it for, not to mention the cherrypicking of verses. I'll admit ive never finished the bible in its entirety, but I do think alot of peiple follow what they want when the want. I just think people need to have their own connection to God.

TLDR: Religon bad, bible good. Too many hypocrites/snobs at church. Connect with God in your own way.

Because religion was the system 1.0, it was the tool that used to control the masses and it still is to some degree, it's just a power struggle, big brother always wants more menpower under his belt, I'm not religious in the least but as long as you keep your beliefs to yourself (unlike the system, which is the reason I see it as an enemy of men) we should have no problem.
