Some might use dogs as bait, but from what I've seen, most dog moms are usually lonely and childless post-wall women who need an outlet for their maternal instincts now that they realize that their wombs will be forever barren.

It’s maternal instinct too, that’s why French bulldogs are so popular is that they look like human babies more than any other dog. Women will spend $4,000 or so on a dog that looks human-ish when a dog can be had from a shelter for $100-$200 or even sometimes rescued from the street for free.
