I am a 22 y/o MGHOW who has always been academically driven and reaped the rewards of my extraordinary drive in my academic pursuits. I completed high school excelling in the top courses, achieving the IB Diploma, and now I have two years remaining in my Electrical Engineering Degree; all the while I, a straight man, have chosen to be voluntarily single. I find immense pleasure in going my own way; I am not religious and operate as libertarian, insofar as I am only interested in my own business and assess each and every situation with an objective cost-benefit analysis before making my decisions, and free of emotions, which has also allowed me to exercise prudence in earning money and valuable experience through summer jobs.

My self-worth is of utmost inportance, and rather than seek validation through dating or relationships, I get validation from a long night completing a project in the electronics lab, when most of my fellow peers would rather give up. With proven success in my academic and career-oriented endeavors, I see myself establishing my own engineering firm and becoming a professional engineer the not-too-distant future.

That said, my family finds my voluntary single status, as well as my disinterest in dating and relationships as laughable and consistently tries to shame me for it, especially when I return home to work each summer. I have told them repeatedly that I simply have no interest in dating and relationships and they have tried to get me interested in dating and relationships multiple times, but it has never worked.

tl;dr: I am a straight man with no interest in dating and relationships, really just interested in going my own way and establishing a sound career for myself. Unfortunately, my family feels the need to repeatedly try to get me into dating and relationships, in which I have no interest.
