I had a buddy who fell in love with a gorgeous bad girl about 3½ years ago. Long story short, they didn't last long as a couple - maybe a couple months. They stayed friends though. Somehow.

She moved on but of course shit happened to her. Fatty liver disease, a meth-head boyfriend who beat her up, and then eventually death from liver failure at 37 years old.

He called me up crying - he was having a hard time with it. I took the opportunity to point out some RP and MGTOW points. The guy has his own drug and alcohol problems, he's 40 years old, broke all the time, and can't hold a job very well. I told him probably some of his reason for his life being in the shitter might have quite a bit to do with how he processes women in his head.

The points I made were:

  • Why the HELL are you crying?
  • You weren't even dating her when she died.
  • You were the best thing that happened to her and she bailed on you and went for the worst guy possible.
  • She's a bad girl attracted to bad boys - jailbirds and meth-heads alike. You can't compete with that.
  • Your time to get over her was when you broke up with her 3½ years ago.
  • You never should've stayed friends with her.
  • What did you expect from her? Of course she was going to have a tragic end.

You can't expect anything from gorgeous bad girls except tragedy. Don't date them, don't be friends with them. All they do is drag you down and when shit happens to them and they die young - you're left holding the emotional bag. You could've done anything else with your life, but you emotionally invested in loser who gave you no return on your investment.

I believe in AWALT, but I believe there are good girls and bad girls depending on what you mean by "good."
