Leave her be. Focus on yourself. It's hard to be humble when people make it seem like you've accomplished so much, that's why she's that way. Don't worry, the wall is nicely waiting for her.

1) Avoid her as much as possible.

2) If unable to avoid her, be polite but bored and boring... find something else to do, even if it is reading on your phone, leave as soon as possible.

3) If asked a direct question about her, answer as expected of you and then change the subject to something more interesting.

Don't let anyone know that her BS bothers you in any way. In the long run you have nothing to gain by making enemies with your family.

If anyone asks you to do anything for her. Politely tell them that you are too busy with a major project that needs your constant attention. If they ask you what the project is. Give them a small slow smile and tell them it is Project NONE-OF-YOUR-BUSINESS. The tell them you have to go do 'research' for your project. Then go read your emails.

If it helps, research a business plan as your 'project'.

I'm guessing she's between the ages of 16-24? Look at her and understand what she will be in 10 years or less. Women get uglier and more unhappier and more difficult by the day. How many happy attractive 30 year olds are out there? Once that attention she gets goes away, and it will, there will be nobody left, no personality, no arrogance, etc.

We as men can continue to go up in value our whole lives, because we aren't all about looks, even if so we can work out harder and look better with age. Women don't have the drive or will power to continue to work on themselves. Focus on what type of person you'll be in 10 years and I promise you she will look real pathetic to more than just you.

You are a bit jealous because her mediocrity is celebrated, where you are only going to ever be celebrated for doing something fantastic. She now has an option to be as successful as she wants, or she can just stay home and become a baby factory. She'll be put on a pedestal either way. It's not fair, but that's life.

So you do what others have suggested. Limit your contact with her, don't look at her facebook page, don't interact with her. Focus on yourself and how badass you can be. Not only will you help yourself with your own success, but it'll keep you from dwelling on little miss princess.

Yeah, it's a lot to her. Us men will always feel there was more to be done on our death bed even if we discovered a new form of science, or even saved more than a thousand jews(Schindler). Where a female feels accomplished when she gets a few likes on Instagram or a few second hand courtesy comment(instant validation). Just my theory.

As others have said here, you need to disengage basically. Avoid talking to her if possible. Never let her get a rise out of you. Showing that anything she does can bother you will only make her act worse. Ignore everyone else who kisses her ass. Focus on you. Whatever goals you have in life, work towards them.

NEVER NEVER do anything that is to please her or her fans. Focus solely upon you. Freedom is the goal here.

You need to do whatever you can to get that dysfunction out of your life.

I think we're on the precipice of a golden age for men as individuals. Men are liberating themselves from the obligations of maintaining civilization, and that includes their obligations to protect and provide for women. This will be disastrous for civilization in the long run, but will allow men to live low-stress, responsibility-free lives in the short run.

Not the best recipe for a civilization's longevity, but I'm not so naive to think this river's course can be diverted at this point.

You can't choose relatives, but you can certainly choose how to treat with them. Some of methods you can follow:

Buy a pair of earphones and listen to music when they are trying to forcefully involve you in her presence and nod. Earphones are almost invisible and soon they'll get used to not to speak with you. It might take some time like few months.

Keep getting distracted whenever they start worshiping her near you. This can piss them off and reduce your involvement.

Other options include finding some work to leave your cousins presence. Practicing ignoring to the point they think you are dreaming.

also /u/SunnyFoxes mentioned few gems. Since your main aim is to get away from her influence, not make enemies of your family, these should suffice.

The thing is it simply takes practice and patience to deal with obnoxious relatives.
