I can't help but think that there is a reason that nearly all manifestations of polyandry (one woman, multiple men) is when brothers share one woman. The family ties ensure that the two men have a vested interest in preserving the accord between them that is beyond the woman's control.

But this current push for polyandry, in the current legal and social environment, cannot be ethical because there are no consequences, on her part, for making the iniquitous choice.

In fact, it is quite the opposite; instead of increased ethical obligations for taking on multiple sexual partners, feminist polyandry seems to be like most feminist sexual ethics: the abolition of any ethical obligation, except to indulge her repressed id.

The obligations are, instead, shifted to the people who are so used by her; if she neglects the emotional needs of one, the ethical burden isn't on her, it is on him who must come to grips with "an entitlement complex." If she finds resistance when she proposes some act, the problem isn't with her request. It is with his "selfishness" and "lack of understanding."

And given all the tools women have been granted to get men involved on her terms (child support) and to remove men at will (Duluth model, rape accusations, stalking laws), the only consequence for being unethical on her part is praise.

Yes, and its a nice idea but overcoming human drive for resource accumulation and "guaranteed genetic propagation" (or I'm sure he's my kid) would make this arrangement pretty tense. I would have a hard time overcoming jealousy, I have a hard enough time in FWB arrangements with jealousy as it is. Knowing that she's having sex with someone else would be a dealbreaker for me.

I have no problem at all with this. Women need to be given the freedom to find their own truth about why sex is actually a positive thing, neither sacred, nor profane, just a fun, simple, natural, happy activity. They have to undo thousands of years of guilt and shame cultural conditioning to do so.
