A comparison between life under Islamic rule (Sharia) and life under Feminist utopia

Ex-Muslim speaking. Here is my take on this:

People can pretend to convert to Islam and escape discrimination. Men cannot "convert" to females, despite what transsexuals might believe, in order to escape persecution.

Also, as a male, I'd rather deal with the stupidity of Muslim fundamentalists than feminists.

That being said, I assure you that many people who call themselves Muslim do not abide by Sharia law (including members of my family) and are actually non-denominational/agnostic in their views.

For example, under Saddam Hussein and Bashar Assad, alcohol was permitted in Iraq and Syria and many "Muslims" would drink. The Turks and Kurds are fairly relaxed in their religious practices. The Saudi Royals enforce Sharia in their country but the make trips to Europe to get shit-faced and sleep with hookers. Opium is legal in Iran for medicinal purposes. The Taliban cultivate and sell opium, and I'm sure plenty of them use the stuff as well. Somalians chew "khat" which has similar effects to methamphetamines.

I find many aspects of Sharia reprehensible and when many Muslims are forced to live by those laws they will rapidly change their views on their religion.
