I've looked over both subreddits(TRP and MGTOW). Both offer very good advice and reading material. However, my main focus is on myself and not sex and gaining women.

To be honest, it horrifies me reading these stories of men losing everything to their wives; houses, children, everything. It's unfair to the man that worked his whole life for it, just for it to be taken away in an instant.

I used to think women were top of the pyramid. I was one of those "Nice Guys" who wanted to get laid(I've since grabbed No More Mr. Nice Guy).

I was just offered a full scholarship at my local university and I'm only in my Freshman year of high school. In the area I dream of working in (technology), I most likely would've been divorced raped for everything and forced to pay alimony.

That's not the kind of life I wish to live. I see myself being free with many hobbies, traveling, volunteering, meeting all sorts of people and experiencing a range of cultures, that sort of thing. Not tied down with a woman and children. Marriage and freedom do not go together.

I offer my sincerest of thanks, as I join the ranks of MGTOW.
