Women never had the intention to "destroy society". People in the real world don't have cartoon villain motivations. What happened was that in the last 200 years, new technology was introduced, and the industrial revolution made labor easier, leading to a change in gender dynamics that has yet to play out to this day. We're witnessing female nature expressing itself in a novel environment, and the aggregate effect of millions of women making everyday decisions led to the clusterfuck we have today.

Take the average 20-something woman at the peak of her fertility. Maybe she's newly single after a string of relationships, and she decides to go on Tinder to seek out a fuck buddy. She has no concern for unwanted pregnancy because birth control is effective and abortion is legal almost everywhere in the West. Modern telecommunications allows for anonymous interaction between strangers. She has an office job and doesn't need to marry for money. At no point is she thinking "I'm destroying society through my decisions." She's following her self-interest and indulging in her base mammalian instincts, which are actually maladaptive in the modern context, and at a large enough scale, this leads to the problems of modern society.

Men have never been in control of society, it has always been women in control. Because they are the primary early child caretakers, women program humanity at early stages of development. There wasn't a huge stretch of time between when the common man got the vote and women got the vote. Something like 20 years.

Before that only land owners could vote.

Women aren't that far behind men when it comes to getting the vote.
