That there was a relatively brief period of prosperity & affluence (including widespread electrification and a plethora of cheap appliances) that allowed it to BEGIN to exist in a few prosperous countries for about a decade or two after WWII -- a relatively short aberration in historical terms.

And ironically enough the chief complaint of the feminists of that era wasn't "all of the housework that they had to do" rather it was that things had become so nearly "automated" and easy (especially with the kids off in school most hours of the day) that they were BORED TO TEARS.

This is in the LA (Southern California) area, so EVERYONE has to be on point out here.

I'm talking about 10+ women total, without men, and they are, I assume, looking. A couple have made a bad(?) decision and are saddled with a kid or two. But they did it out of love. But the young ones, 20's, are just looking. And now they are trying to make it through this new world where they are supposed to have everything in hand, be strong, but not be a tinder slut.

Every one of them had their chance, they each blew it, and some made "mistakes" as you say which only emphasizes how badly the blew it in the decision making process.
