Summary How I have spent the last year in my life because of swallowing the Red Pill. Some good, some bad, some fantastic, some horrible. Life is a constant learning process and there is no finish line.
Body
One year ago today I got kicked out of my house and ended my marriage. I had begun reading Red Pill literature and went through the sidebar like a house on fire - but did everything wrong. Dread level went WAY too high too soon. I was a horrible captain, and immediately sunk my ship. I had an affair because my wife didn't want to fuck me and I was stupid enough to marry a woman with severe sexual issues - and got caught.
Do I regret it? A bit, but only when my young daughter says she misses me. Do I miss the frigid nights of getting rejected for sex? No. Do I miss my beautiful four bedroom ideal suburban house? No. Do I miss the station wagon? No. I miss my kids. In three months I'll have them half the time and that will be great.
I left my gorgeous house and moved into a one bedroom condo. It was an immediate lesson in learning that you don't need all that crap to live well. I had my bed, my food and books and that was really everything I needed. I just moved yesterday into a three bedroom house (to have room for my kids) and it is basically empty because I have no stuff. And that's fine, I don't need stuff. Stuff just gets in the way and people work at jobs they hate to buy shit they don't need.
My business has flourished. I have to pay support and daycare costs and there's no better motivator to kick ass when you're self employed and are staring a huge child support payment in the face. Since the year has been going I have over doubled my previous fiscal year income. I had my best month EVER in fifteen years of running my business in August. I recently rebranded and will be expanding in January and that will start generating residual income. Focus on kicking ass and working your butt off. I get up at 4:30am some days and get home at 8pm, but I get paid by the hour and some days I make a ridiculous amount of money (for me).
I've done fun stuff. I've taken courses, learned how to shoot a bow, got my firearms license, skydived, done amazing bike rides and met some really cool people, both men and women. Because now I have time to do it and I do whatever I want to whenever I want to as long as work doesn't suffer.
Now to the women. I have had so much sex I don't know what to do with it. As an attractive in shape 41 year old guy, Tinder was like games on easy mode. Through that and other means I've met so many women at two points in the past year I had to get rid of plates I was spinning because I was too busy. Currently I have one main partner and three alternate partners (one of whom pays me in trade with sex - see a previous FR but she's way too good to stop with). I have sex about 4-5 days a week and sometimes with more than one partner in a day. I've slept with three women in 24 hours. I've slept with different women Friday/Saturday/Sunday weekends many times. I've slept with a woman half my age (literally). And I've had one disastrous relationship and am currently in an excellent red pill one. Like I said previously, it is all a learning curve.
So here are my main lessons:
Life begins whenever you want it to.
It's never to late to change things. I was stuck in a marriage and sick of my life and yes, did things the wrong way but a year later I'm much happier and enjoying life to its' fullest. I'm looking forward to the future and planning to be the best dad and business owner I can possibly be.
The sidebar works You have to give it time and not rush into things and fuck it up like I did. I learned the most after reading some of those books twice and some three times and then applying it. There is nothing wrong with taking time and we as a society don't understand that change doesn't happen overnight. I'm still learning all the time and know that it will always continue, that's the point of life.
Focus on yourself first - always I tried to change my wife. I tried to change my situation. I tried to change my clients. I did EVERYTHING but try to change myself because my stupid inner voice told me there was nothing wrong with me. And there was - and always has been. I won't get into details but I have been programmed to act a certain way and that had to change FIRST. I still struggle with it daily. If you aren't good within yourself you can't be good for other people.
I realized this the first time I was with my kids and they were acting up and I was losing my mind. I quickly realized that the only person who can affect how I feel is me. And once I calmed down they did too. They have behavioral issues with their mother that I don't see because of how I am calm and take care of things.
In short, after one year my life is awesome. I am happy. And this will keep evolving and growing constantly. For those of you years in, keep sharing your wisdom. For those of you new to the game, learn from my mistakes and the others here. There is a wealth of information for making you into a better man and finding whatever fulfills you.
TL;DR: I'm a happy mofo one year after my life went nuclear.
