Even though I grew up in a religious Catholic environment, I examined my beliefs and came to the conclusion over years that I really don't believe much anymore in God, Jesus, Heaven, or most of that stuff. I'm essentially an atheist, though I don't feel entirely comfortable calling myself that (with no intent to be antagonistic to anyone who still has faith in religious things)

But I'm finding that overcoming the conditioning that I must be with a woman in a LTR, that there's a "ONE" out there for me, and that this sort of male/female relationship thing is the "end game" is even harder to overcome than losing faith in the religious things I grew up with.

Does anyone out there understand this? Any advice?
