Since the election of Trump a lot of the country has gone far left making people in the middle and even the left closest to the middle basically redefined as right-wing. People are waking up to the insanity.

Now some big events in the last few years that sped this up.

2017 - Women's March Against Trump. Women donned pussy hats to protest a man becoming president over a woman. Despite the insistence that women are more than just their vaginas their ironic choice of silly symbolism was lost on all who attended.

2018 - #MeToo explodes and almost single handedly changes the work and dating landscape for men

2018 - Kavanaugh goes on trial as part of the weaponized #MeToo movement and gets publicly smeared for an event that no intelligence agency could corroborate as being true and several anonymous accusers later retracting their claim or admitting it was untrue after the trial was over, the dust settled, and the public eye of scrutiny having moved on.
