I was just down at Cottonwood Canyon south of the Dalles along the john day river, it was my first time in Oregon. Really awesome down there

Little under a 2 hour drive, but boy was it worth it. Once you get to the trail you hike for a little under a mile on pretty easy terrain. But once you get there, trust me it's worth it.
