I moved to China 8 years ago. I wanted to travel after I graduated university and easily got sucked into the relative ease of life as an expat. Upon arriving I found Chinese women to be worlds apart from American and other western women, at least in terms of their outwards appearance. They kept they're figures really well, were very effeminate, and didn't try at all to act like men. It was initially a breath of fresh air, and I indulged. However, there are some aspects of Chinese society which are much more cucky and blue-pilled than the west. Chinese education and family life push men hard towards marriage, and women take full advantage.

To begin with, Chinese women have zero national pride (unless it suits them somehow). Considering the unprecedented economic growth of the country, and the hard work that went into it by so many men in the country, you'd expect some form of appreciation from the females, who now have a substantially better life prospect than ever before. All that hard work from soooo many Chinese men - working long hours, 6-7 days a week, scrounging and saving 90% of their relatively small paycheck, just to have the opportunity to buy a house and car for a woman (blue-pilled af). And while he's working his ass off, she's out fucking foreign dudes and rich Chinese guys. When she's decided it's time to "Settle down" she can go back and marry a blue-pilled Chinese cuck. Considering the high-value Chinese society (esp. men) puts on virtuous women and her maintaining decency and virginity until marriage, it's honestly kind of sad.

During my time in China, I was asked thousands upon thousands of times about marriage and kids (yes, the Chinese are completely obsessed with it), with 99% of the questions coming from female strangers, coworkers, acquaintances, waitresses, etc.I would question them in return, always asking "why do you want to get married?" and they'd respond with one or more of the answers below, in ranking order:

  1. ...because kids are cute.
  2. ...I don't want to die alone/ want someone to take care of me when old or ill
  3. my grandparents/parents want me to have kid(s)
  4. because I'm beautiful and my kid will also be beautiful

Notice how they never say "because I love my boyfriend/husband and want to have a child with him because he's an amazing man." It's all about her, or her familial pressures. Also, since Chinese society has a "hukou" system, which can best be simply explained as a hierarchical domestic passport system, allowing certain people with certain hukous to go to better hospitals, schools, get better jobs, have certain city residencies, and so on, I suspect that the hukou system is a tacit reason why women will marry a guy - to improve her residency status in China (Hypergamy). But of course, i never once heard a woman say that.

I've met a lot of women from all over China, in various settings and places and we often exchanged WeChats - a universally used messenger app in China (like Facebook or Whatsapp). Many of these women were married, but you wouldn't even know that they were based off of their timeline/moments pictures, as there isn't a single picture of her husband. Sure, tons of pics of her and her kid(s), but literally no indication whatsoever that she has a husband. He's one of the biggest parts of her life, the man that will do anything for her, has provided her with a house and car, provided her with a kid or two, and if you look at her status you'd think she was single/divorced. Whats most amazing about it isn't how nearly all Chinese wives have no picture of their husband in their WeChat, but if I ever did ask them about it, they'd say that their husband is "very ugly" and thus not suitable for posting a picture of. I suppose that would make her look bad, because she's a beautiful princess and all..... Now, look at her husbands WeChat - his freaking profile pic is usually of the family!

Chinese women are completely shameless in their requests from a male suitor. They have these 3-word phrases like "(he needs a) car, house, and money" in order to even be considered for a date. "Tall, handsome, and rich," "Young, youthful muscle." And they also have a common saying, one that I've heard many times: "the most attractive version of a man is when he is working." which will occasionally be murmured (satirically??) "the only attractive version of a man is when he is working." The older generation of Chinese females push the notion that if you don't own a home, then "you're not a person." That's one I still have difficulty wrapping my head around. But nonetheless, this way of thinking has lead young Chinese men to go to extreme lengths to get the necessary goods for marriage, coining the term for the absurdly high-cost of apartments nationwide as "the mother-in-laws (housing cost) inflation." Not surprisingly, when a guy goes on a date, he pays for everything.

Now, my red-pill experience happened about 5 years ago. I had been seeing all of this stuff I mentioned above going on all the time and I wasn't even fully red-pilled until my own personal bad experience. I think this is the nature of men, we can't think without our dicks until some traumatizing experience hits us right in the face. To some degree, we really were born as slaves, and like Neo from the matrix, must take the hard red-pill in order to come out of it. I've since become mgtow monk and avoid women of all nationalities as much as possible. I study, I read, I go to the gym, hang out with male friends. I can't stand women anymore. I think they're financial, emotional, and social leeches at best. They can't help it, it's just their nature. But that doesn't mean I have to be a part of their narcissistic, gynocentric bullshit.

A few notes:

-women think everything men do is done solely in the hopes of impressing women, getting a glimpse from her, or for "winning her over into marriage"

-women really only do think about themselves. Sure, everyone is selfish, but women think everything a guy does is to "win a woman" and so they act accordingly, interacting with him only to get something financially - Briffaults Law

-women think of all men as their property, to be used as they see fit, from the first interaction to the last convo

-women think men are completely expendable

-women love rejecting men: If he doesn't dress, look, smile, etc. exactly the way that gives her maximum feels all the time, she won't even look at or speak to him again. He could be an amazing husband for her but because one slight imperfection exists, she'll dismiss him forever.

Since going MGTOW:

-not depressed anymore, generally more happy

-practice semen retention and can push through my studies after work and gym (couldn't do before). tons of other benefits to this including more energy and focus.

-Not distracted and have more personal time. (Thinking about, talking to, talking about, preparing for dates all took time and energy away from what I really wanted to achieve.)

-Much less stress which definitely has something do with not having females a-yapping, however I do practice meditation now.

-More money. actually, i save 85% of my paychecks and still live well. On a great path now financially.
