Hi, everybody. I've been lurking around here for some months now and have found relevant advise on several subjects, but specially on relationships with women.

I'm on a pretty shitty personal life situation and I want to ask for advise from the more salty members around here.

4 years ago me and my 10-year-older-than-myself brother started a company and have been working our asses off and getting a lot of money. We are in Mexico so the numbers don't translate too well.

Back in 2012 I was unemployed, just ended (oh, once again) an on and off relationship (which has again just resurfaced and bailed a during the last months), 5k USD in debt, had to move back to my parents house, etc. I was poor, unwanted and depressed. I had also just dropped college.

During these 4 years work has taken me to all of Mexico installing technology for hotels, met a lot of people and had a lot of experiences. Most turistic destinations don't impress me at all anymore.

I'm no longer in any debt, and have around 50k USD in the bank plus some other short and long term investments. Also, I own 20% of the company's stock. Company is going really well and has given me around 60k USD yearly.

This last year has been hell for us because of work overload. I have had several pannic and axiety attacks and no longer want to keep on doing this job. Right now I'm on the longest period without traveling from one city to another (12 days) in the whole year and I'm not home. I don't feel home anywhere. This has created a lot of distance with close friends or anyone in my life, including this on and off girl who's been coming in and out for the last 10 years. My therapist tells me the only way to make things work with this girl is to ask her to marry me. I have my doubts on this, but it sort of makes sense.

I'm planning on taking a sabbatical year and finish up college. I also want to try and start my own business (not many ideas now, though).

I'm getting home in the next days and I need to rebuild my life. But I don't know where to start. Of course I will resort to all of these distant friendships and family, but it doesn't seem like it will be enough.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on my situation and how can I become a better self.

I'm a cyclist and good at it (did a 80 mile long, 2 mile climb Gran Fondo this June and trying to quit smoking.)

Edit 2: about to turn 30.
