Known this girl for a while, shes in my class but we havent really talked. The times we talked- I joked to her and she got angry and another time. Then Nada . So I started talking to her about the uni's exams which are happening soon and I was able to start a convo.

Problem is I dont know where to take it from here. Considering her reaction to my joke(tried to banter with her) a few months back I fear bantering may get her all mad again. I dont care, but I dont know her much and I want to slowly develop rapport and then banter and have fun. Many times I have joked with people who havent liked it so I an trying to slowly dive into it .

She has a common interest as mine but I go to know about it through someone. What's the best way to go about it?
