If someone avoids giving direct answer and instead gives an answer that is convoluted and evades addressing the question that was asked - that person is lying?

Because I'm pretty sure you fit this characteristic pretty well.

You never answer the question that was asked, you change subject, you accuse the other person, you are vague, you give elaborate descriptive excuses, you write like you have a higher moral standard.

You basically described in your post how you interact with this sub.

Protip (sadly not as trustworthy as CIA operative teaching people how to detect lies):

If you want to see if your gf is lying to you, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself these three questions:

Do I consistently have other options available?
Am I consistently focused on being the best me I can be?
Am I consistently focused on my mission?
If the answers to 1-3 are YES, go distant/cold on her and see if she becomes angry (" it's your fault that I...") or ups her game ("baby I'm sorry, what did I do wrong...")?

There's your answer.

EDIT: the gist is - going verbal on her or confronting her is beta, the "redpill" thing to do is to ignore what she says and see what she does (offensive on betas vs submissive to alphas).

Would highly recommend reading Spy the Lie, a book written by a few former CIA interrogators, if I remember correctly.

Basically, this book teaches a method of detecting lies by using a cluster rule. By noticing certain "flags," you can determine the likelihood of deception by getting a cluster of 3 or more of these flags. It also teaches some methods of interrogating potential liars. One very important thing is teaches is that in order to do this it is important to not blatantly accuse the defendant of lying.

For example, using the phrase "is there any reason someone might tell me you did XXX ?" as opposed to just saying "did you XXX?" Not only does this potentially raise another flag (significant pause before replying) but it could plant doubt into the defendant that someone may have already informed you of their antics.

That's just one of many example, the book is pure gold imo.

It's good to have these quick tells. The old fashioned way I use takes too long and you only know the person is a liar and not always the specific lie. The old fashioned way (pretty obvious) is listen to them until they start contradicting themselves or say things that don't make sense.

You can expedite this by remembering keys things about a questionable story and then leading them back to it and see if they say the same thing twice. If they get an "oh shit, I have to try to remember my lie now" look then that's pretty telling as well.

If you know the person you can generally tell if that person is a lying bitch or not, generally speaking.
