MeToo started about getting justice for women who were horrible raped and assaulted.
#MeToo because your classic middle school popular girl getting even and setting scores but on a larger adult scale.
The wheels started to come off the bus on #MeToo once some of those popular girls had her own issues surface and it started hitting useful democratic allies.
Then some men started to Metoo their male and female harassers, nope can't have that.
It was also getting to the point where just awkwardly asking the wrong girl out on a date was a MeToo in the making. Many an upper middle class mother's teen aged son was all too vulnerable to the Metoo creep shaming attacks that could get him suspended, barred from enrolling in many colleges,or simply expelled.
Hell of thing to have your life fucked up like that at 16-17 just because he awkwardly but respectfully asked the wrong sophomore chick to the homecoming dance. Momma bear saw the threat right away and started to put the Kibosh on #MeToo.
Now Biden is running for president and the rules of evidence now apply. No wonder men are cynical.
