Hell you're lucky they didn't turn around and jump out with baseball bats. You made several mistakes:

Losing temper on something trivial
Escalating violence against a stranger(s)
Staying at the scene of a crime
Talking to police
Confessing to a crime
Conversing with a cop
Speaking with a law enforcement officer

In America maybe. Here in Europe (it varies from country to country) police are usually friendly and respectful if you cooperate.

Police are here to fill up their quota, they are not against you, they are for themselves so to say. Actually heard that from a family member who is somewhere in the ranks of police (so not just a normal "beat cop). They literally get a directive from the top "this district needs 500 arrests in this period" and they have to obey.

I swear upon death of my mother what I wrote in my post was exactly what happened. There was no damage to the car because I ran up to the car and literally tossed the stick inside of it. I know it sounds absurd to be charged with what what I was charged with but that's the sad truth.

Losing frame over a passing remark, attacking somebody not in self-defense, and trickle truth are NOT Red Pill behaviors, my man. Running up to a car and throwing a stick at the occupants IS assault, and battery if it so much as bounces into one of them.

Perhaps you might consider quality over quantity in your TRP top postings moving forward.

I'm probably 18 hours too late to the party on this post, and using my throwaway jic, but getting arrested was the biggest game changer in life as a young man. OP is 100% correct when it comes to splashing to lawyer up. Find a guy who practices often wherever you got charged and who has a good relationship with that prosecutor. Seriously, it goes a long way. My lawyer was able to pull my ass out of the fire after 8 months on a pretty serious drug charge due to his experiences with the arresting County/Municipality.

The overarching lesson I've taken in all this is that society will discount you from serious contention for just about anything if you have a PENDING criminal charge let alone a conviction. You pay with your top valuables in life, time and freedom, to earn back the status you previously had. For me, I can never contemplate smoking weed, doing a line, etc again.

If this is your first offense, they'll probably let you off with a slap on the wrist. Maybe you'll have community service or very light probation. There are also programs the courts run (at least in my state) where if it's your first offense, you can opt to do x amount of hours community service instead of getting arraigned and having a record.

If you ever get arrested, whether you're in the right or wrong. Keep your fucking mouth shut. You don't have to talk to the cops no matter how much they threaten, intimidate or try to scare you. Tell them you want to speak to a lawyer and that's it.

Three guys in a nice car drive by and call the OP a "fag".

The OP picks up a two-by-four and slams it into the car making a big dent.

Now the OP runs away because he knows he is in trouble.

Cops are called and they find our OP who then gives "partial truth" about how he did property damage to the car.
