Hello all,

I come seeking some answers and advice. Growing up I was lucky enough to have both parents, but my dad wasn't exactly around much due to him working a lot and providing for the family. As I look at other men my age or older, most of them don't know how to change their oil, do basic housework, or anything related to that. Our fathers serve as good examples of being "jack-of-all trades" to an extent. My dad knows basic home repair, woodworking, and automotive skills. He is in no means an expert in these areas, but he knows his way around a workbench and a drill. He never really taught me how to do things, mainly just told me to "hold this light", lol. My father is a good man.

I know women shouldn't be a motivator, but nothing gets a girl wetter than a guy who knows how to work and build shit with his hands. And, young men these days just don't have any practical or technical skills like our fathers do. Most of them just know what guns are good in fortnite and how to make a funny meme. I want to have an edge on those guys.

What are some skills that I can learn the benefit myself and future self? What are some skills that every man should know how to do? Any resources I can read up on or practice?
