In all states pointing a firearm at someone unless in self defense is illegal and even then some states have certain legal jargonon whether something is self defense or a felony (its stupid but how far away someone is can change it). Even if he was the robber they, by doing what they did, became the aggressors, and are a shame to gun owners everywhere. Ctizens arrest is legal in the state of Georgia, as is open carry, but you can't hold someone. You're supposed to call the police or take them to the police station.

One final note is even if he was the burglar they accused him of being, what the fuck do you expect to happen if you chase down someone who's jogging in a truck with guns?
