I left my homeland in the late 90's, and I came to Western Europe a few years later with my family. I hadn't visited my homeland for almost 20 years. We assimilated, but me and my siblings integrated much faster. I speak the local language like a dialect. I had never been back in my homeland, and never hung around with my people a lot. When I went back to my homeland, far in Russia, people noticed that I'm not from there(I am, but not raised amongst them). People there told me that I have behaviors, mannerisms and the accent of a Western-European. They wanted to associate with me, and I guessed they did it because it would boost their social status, or something like that.

Older women in their 40's were quite friendly with me. I wondered why, and I found out why. They wanted to marry their daughter out to me. They were begging my father to marry their daughter out to me, and take her back with me. I went to my rural home village. Several women there wanted to marry me, and they were adamant about it.

This whole thing just disgusted me. The women there don't want to marry the local men, and only want to marry the guys from Western-Europe, because they think they'll get more resources. They treat their own local men like shit, ignoring them, and being quite rude. But they're extremely friendly and flirty with the Western-European guys. Did this happen to any of you guys, who visited their homeland as a guy living in the West?
