Hey guys,

Just wanted to get some insight into picking up girls at clubs as a couple. I’ve tried to use examples from our previous experiences; hope you guys can shed some light.

About us: My wife and I are both in our mid-30s, and like girls. She’s 5’4’’, I’m 6’2’’, and I’d say we carry ourselves well.

Clubs: We’re from Canada but the clubs in question are in Western Europe (House/EDM primarily); we go once/twice a year. If you’re familiar with clubs in Munich, Amsterdam, Prague etc, you’ll know that the crowd is a lot different, pretty much anyone from 18-40s; you don’t really feel out of place.

Experience so far: We’ve had a decent amount of luck every now and then at clubs but some questions keep on popping up in my head quite often and wanted to get your take on it.

Questions:

  • (Married or just dating?) Regardless of whether I initiate the conversation, my wife or a random girl comes up to us, do girls care if we tell them that we’re married or just gf-bf?
  • (Rings?) We wear our rings pretty much the entire time, does it make any difference in this scene?
  • (Show interest) I seem to attract the sluttiest, and she seems to attract the prettiest ones. Any recommendations on how to escalate with the prettier ones? While my wife is doing her thing (dancing, grinding, small talk, compliments etc), is there anything I can do to escalate from my end? Especially if the initial engagement was through my wife. At times, I’ll let them do their thing for a bit, but at the same time, I don’t want to come across as not-interested either.
  • (Buy them drinks?) I’m anti buying drinks for girls when I’m out with the boys, but in this scenario, if we offer to buy her a drink, does it send the same desperate/trying-too-hard vibes?
  • (The other guy) We’ve had this happen to us a few times, where the other girl is with another guy, and once my wife starts to talk to her (at this point interest has been expressed from both sides, usually eye contact, a smile or a compliment given across the dance floor), the guy either turns extra-clingy, and won’t even give them even a few seconds to even whisper shit into each other’s ears (while the music is blaring). I usually just give him a bro-nod as soon as the girls are talking to acknowledge what’s going on; if things go well, then I’ll introduce myself after some time. Is there anything I can do in this scenario or just let it be? Perhaps the girl is into it but the guy isn’t; don’t want to piss on his parade either. Realistically, if things were to progress with a couple, only the girls would play, but the girls need some privacy, or just a bit of a time to see whats the scene.
  • (Any other tips?): I'd really appreciate any other tips, tricks, suggestions you guys can share. We're just out there to have a good time, goal is to make best of it.

Many thanks in advance for your help!
