For example, a guy in his 20+, he was finishing college, didn’t have a lot of money, didn’t have a career, didn’t have a lot of style maybe, or a lot of confidence maybe, maybe a little ugly. And on the other hand, SHE, she was pretty, had a looooooot of attention and basically endless opportunities, thou not paying attention to the 20+ first guy of the example.

But when their 30s come, the guy has a cool career, maybe he has a relatively nice car, a house, maybe some luxury clothes, more confidence, and she’s very used up, maybe not as pretty, maybe a little fatter, some wrinkles start to say hello, and her biological clock is in its last legs, so suddenly, she pays attention to him, and he pays attention to her, for this example.

So we can say she lost value and he gained value, so the playfield sort of leveled up. What do you think about this situation? Not in a sense if a LTR is worth it, or marriage or having a girlfriend etc. I know she obviously has disadvantages, like she has a lot of emotional baggage, she sees the guy as a walking atm, she has to have kids basically right away, and her pretty years are basically over, but for him he is like, I finally have the opportunity to be with this pretty girl, so both of them feel lucky. I know as a guy, I clearly wouldn’t do this, it’s plain stupid. But what’s your outtake on the matter?
