I've had oneitis for this girl in my class for the past three years. We are not even friends but we do talk occassionally. I had opened by saying I was very much attracted to her. Like that one of the first things I told her even before I built any rapport and comfort. She had a boyfriend at that time and gave me the LJBF rejection. I realise now that I had a natural propensity for game even though I've had like zero experience with women at that point but my plugged in self felt bad about gaming women. So I said sure let's be friends and then didn't talk to her for the next six months( because I couldn't bring myself to). I initiated conversation again six months started to build rapport. This was a time when I was completely unaware of the concept of game or even that women have a sexual strategy in the first place. I had unwittingly passed a number of shit tests and not realising what I've done I even apologised to her a few times for passing those shit tests. Beyond this I'd drunk texted her a few times but in most of my interactions I've kept the frame that while I might have feelings for her that border on obsession I actually want to get over it. Basically implying I'm not interested in any form of attention or intimacy from her. In the middle of this she had broken up with her boyfriend and when I found out (She told me after I asked her why she looks depressed) I again made a move on her only to find out she's dating her so called best friend now. (Her previous boyfriend had also been her bestfriend in Highschool but they were in LDR at that point). Looking back now I realise I had passed a number of shit tests and failed a bunch of others during the time I'd known her and in some places it's ambiguous if I'd passed or failed. I had actually told her I don't like any other girls which I suppose only reduced my value a lot. The only thing she'd done that I considered manipulative was that she'd only respond when I threatened to cut her off. For some reason I had expected her let me cut her off as it was the "right thing to do" given that she's dating another guy now.

If I had to describe her I'd say she's HB7 or 8, has some symptoms of NPD but then AWALT. Nothing that could be considered an obvious red flag (From what I've read in the Red pill posts till now). She had always come off as a genuinely nice person and for the most part she had never tried get anything from except for very simple things. Again as I'd said due to my natural propensity for game I had never invested anything concrete in courting her except for my emotional well being and she doesn't know of that either. The problem I have is that I have a hard time believing that she's AWALT. I've never caught her trying to manipulate me except for a few times she went out of her way to make me jealous all of which I'd ignored. I noticed that she responds when she sees me talking to other girls but that's it. And just so you know the place I come from is overall far more scarce than what you might be used to. Both for men and women.

She's also pretty independent and ambitious and her current boyfriend is far far below her smv. He's actually almost a doormat nice guy from what I've seen but he's not completely useless being a year older than her. That guy has lesser smv than me which makes me question the red pill's claims about hypergamy. She also doesn't drink or smoke or do drugs even though she goes out to party at times it's with her friend circle and its actually extremely tame.

Can someone explain this behaviour and help me unplug?

Also do you have any tips for gaming women with mild NPD and also fit into the good girl trope with an almost childlike innocence that belies a a possibly manipulative inner self even though I've never detected that. Even some of my friends who are good with analysing female behaviour consider her to be a "good girl".
