How do you guys best deal with a girl who ghosts you for absolutely no reason and then texts asking how you're doing ?

I'm gonna give you an example here, I would love some help because this happened to me couple of times before and I've fucked it up.

So I just had a girl do that, we met in school and were hitting it off for like a week or so, sending lots and lots of iois, being submissive. Then out of nowhere, she texts me two words stuff and acting all angry, then she didn't reply for like 2 months. I never double texted her during that phase, and school was over due to the pandemic so no contact at all. Then 2 days ago she texts me something like "where have you been ?" and "why didn't you text me?" I just said that I was busy. Then she has the audacity to tell me why do I seem like I'm angry at her, I told her I just got home and I'm tired.

I think the only things I did wrong with this chick before was maybe texting too much ( not that much tho) and/pr not escalating quick enough.

If there was no pandemic I would ask her out after a couple texts, but don't you guys think it's kinda weak ? I mean she forgot about me for months, then as soon as she texts, I ask her out? That doesn't sound too logical, but that's what most of the advice about this subject in this sub is like.

How do I get to see her, without looking weak or too easy? And if I shouldn't see her, how do I avoid becoming "text buddies".

PS: she lives like a 5mn walk away from my home so it doesn't have to be a date date.
