Were often told to avoid women with BPD here (which I can say is solid advice from experience) but I've never really seen much advice for men who actually struggle with it themselves. Never been officially diagnosed, may finally seek some form of medical advice after this quarantine passes but I'm curious for any men who know they do have it or suspect they do, what have they done to help control it some.

Symptoms I mostly identify with: I have massive dissociative episodes that can last for hours where I don't feel real and spaced out, occasional abandonment issues, impulsive when I'm bored which is often, never can say I've been truly suicidal but go through depressive episode, other times just straight up rage. Looking for both medical advice or just what you've done to ease it in yourself. I want to avoid medication but I'm reaching the point that I'm willing to try it if anyone has success stories from being medicated. Thanks.
