Paywall so couldn't read the whole article but I most likely wouldn't have anyways. "Chief executive of a french lifestyle website is unable to work fulltime". Why the fuck not? Will there ever be a better opportunity to expand your online presence than right now? She decides to slow it down and collect government subsidies? Crisis brings opportunity but women find being a victim is far more appealing.

I didn't read anything about a "setback for women" except in the headline. I guess if women choose to stay at home instead of going back to the workplace, we are supposed to believe that is a setback. So what? It's their choice. That's not a setback. That's a choice.

Let them keep whining. If they want a family, they have to deal with the responsibility. As always, they want to have their cake and eat it too. They think the government can solve all their problems. Men will never be nurturers. They can either suck it up, pay for a nanny, or not reproduce.

We'll never have the husband version and we know the wife's version is BS since no 18 years old in France has his mum checking that he does homework. The poor Anne-+aure HAD TO COOK!! Can you believe this???

If the wife had been a nurse, then the husband would have been asked to do everything. If it is the opposite, then no.

If women, who are mostly responsible for homeschooling, can’t take on additional work, “their careers will suffer”; “working-class women, or factory workers, are the most precarious, and they may have to leave the job market.”

As if working class women or men have a "career". Trust me, I've worked with those women doing split shift at Carrefour supermarkets back in my youth. Their dream was to be housewives. But that's something only upper middle class can afford already then and even more nowadays.

More drama by the professional whiners who detest the consequences of the causes they cherish so much...
