https://www.carcomplaints.com/ Good website to check out to see if a car has common problems/issues. Sometimes sample size isn't big enough to be completely accurate. When you look up audi a4 it shows an oil burning issue. Did a quick google search and it appears this is a problem with that model- this could lead to extremely expensive repair. Do more investigating to find out for sure.

I grew up in a very religious but not oppressive family. I lost interest as a teenager but revisited it in my 30's. I thought this time I will really get into it and study the Bible. That is when I began to realize the sermons I had heard before only picked out the good parts. Sounds like your Air conditioning compressor is seized. This will cause the screeching and brake the belt when the A/C is turned on. When you get a car because you love cars, as I do, it's not materialistic in the obtaining status kind of way. I have an old car that I work on and it gives me huge pleasure and satisfaction. It is a great hobby and if you pick the right vehicle it could even appreciate or at least maintain its value. Internet forums that focus on your type of car are also a good social outlet where people are generally really nice to each other.

I think I understand your main point about not having to always say fuck off instead of just please go away. Some comments are just to call them out, some to have some fun and insult them and others to educate and point out how they are wrong.
