Some people don't believe me, I'm 27 years old and never have been on a date, kissed, needless to say had a romantic relationship with a man. It's not because I'm not attracted to them, I am. And it isn't either that I'm not a social being. I have family, friends and a good relationship with them. My hypothesis is that ever since I began a PhD my life tremendously changed, I used to be more social doing my mayor college years. And even when I "rejected" meeting some guys, since I thought they would distract me from my academic life since my "focus" was to enjoy college years and academics without romance. Still, I was courted by some of them and they were flirtatious, so by experience, at least I know I'm considered attractive to the opposite sex. I've been in grad school for 3 years and its been kind of a lot of demands in time, work and studies. I'm still active as a human being in terms of taking care of my self, nurturing my close relationships yet I have not experienced anything in a romantic sense.
I'd really reflected on this ever since we have been in the locked down. I enjoy my life, yet feel so weird and sometimes wonder if there is something wrong with me. For that reason, I'm asking, to those who are in their near 30s and have never dated, any advice on how and where to start?
