We'll, I'm a POC and I don't even tolerate conservative men... Sometimes not even moderates....

The values are just different. When I was in college I researched at a university located in the American midwest. Now, many of you know the Midwest is notorious for Trump supporters.

I saw signs everywhere. The guys my age looked normal, like "decent" guys. One time I got in an uber where the white (male) driver was trying to make me "admit" that racism wasn't real. For the whole 15min ride he was aggressively defending the Confederate flag and trying to get me to agree. Pass🙅

Yup. And I have as a general rule that if you vote for someone that doesn't respect my right to chose/have birth control insured, you're getting nowhere near my vagina. Or even a dinner date, god, talking to them hurts my brain.

Btw, there is interesting thing I noticed among men like this who used to be Trump supporters, and then changed their mind. In fact there are a lot of men like that online, they hang out in ex-redpill subs, call themselves socialists and support Bernie. I am in full support of Bernie, but I don't like the 180 shift, that usually happens not after some introspection, but because they changes one source of Youtube Entertainment (right wing youtube hanging spots like Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Rebel Media) to left wing Youtubers (Contrapoints, Shaun, Innuendo Studio, Sam Seder).

These men, if you'd call them that, are still incredibly infantile and dependant on other people to have their own opinions. Don't get me wrong, the less people right-wing rabbit hole gets the better, and maybe in time this guys will develop a necessary critical thinking, but they usually don't carry opinions different from what they've seen and read somewhere.

Once I've been arguing with an ex-Peterson fan, who was Peterson hater this time, but hasn't abandoned his misogynistic view on women. He would still hold opinions that women are privileged because they can get sex easily and stuff like that.

I would steer clear from guys who change their political opinions so quickly. These are usually people who are looking for a mommy to take care of them, and also downgrade her achievements so that he can feel like a man.

Personally, I would be weary of dating anyone who is staunchly to the left or right of the political spectrum. I’m a centrist myself, and I don’t believe the world is black and white. There’s so much nuance, that I think it’s somewhat ignorant to align yourself rigidly to one view only. I like people who are open-minded, and ive found that leftists can be just as backwards as those on the right.
