A guy definitely doesn't have to be rich to be HVM in my opinion (I'm a recent grad too, it's tough out there, we can't all be power bosses) as long as he satisfies YOUR specific needs. But, and I'm not trying to be rude here so I'm sorry... this post seems a bit validation seeking? If he's a HVM in your eyes why do you need to ask? Does it make YOU uncomfortable that he's poor? It sounds like he ticks almost all of your boxes besides the anime porn thing (be wary of that though, for sure) so what's the problem?

I don’t think poor men should be dating seriously or getting married. I think financial stability and the ability to be able to provide is important. Even if single, a man should be working on stability and getting his income to a point where he is comfortable and not living paycheck to paycheck.
