Thought I would share a bit of a meet-cute. In my city, all non-essential services and businesses have been shut down but this means there has been a shortage of blood donors. Health professionals and even government officials have been urging those who are young and healthy and able to safety donate blood to do so as they are forecasting a major shortage soon.

Anyway, went ahead with the process and was having my blood drawn when a man was seated beside me. When the phlebotomists left we started chatting. As we both wrapped up he said he wanted to ask for my number but won't bother me until there's some sense of normalcy back in the world. He then proceeded to show me him setting a reminder for himself for two weeks from now under the hopes the outbreak is contained.

Not many people are donating right now so I truly appreciate those who are looking out for the healthcare system in whatever way they can. Hopefully, he did not go with the intention to pick up chicks, but the way he handled the entire situation really warmed my heart!
