I’m still angry since it just happens a few minutes ago but I’m just in absolute shock and disgust. I live in a patchwork family, almost dominant men-influence (not related to most) and had to deal with many things I have to „give up“ for their comfort, especially for my stepfather.

Now he reached (for me personally) a new low. He had the audacity to come to me and tell me to stop shaving because he gets annoyed if he sometimes spot a small hair in the shower and he doesn’t want this „junk“ be in his water tank. I looked at him and was like „What do you mean? I have to shave for my own comfort?“ He continued to say I can do that without water. I honestly didn’t knew what to say because this was like an absolute new high of ignorance. All I could do was replying „I don’t want to start arguing with you about shaving but I’ll do it and I need water. What am I suppose to do?“ (Possible) baffled by that, he shrugged it off and said I should do it in the other bathroom.. the one he never uses, because it’s on my mothers side of the house (she’s a super pickme).

Am I wrong for being mad about this?

Also, to avoid possible assumptions: No I’m not in any leaving the bathroom in a mess, wait weeks to maintain hair or others. It’s a normal part of my routine and before it was never a problem: Suddenly it is one???

EDIT: To add to the audacity: It’s the same men who regularly shaved his beard and leaves the „crap“ on display in the sink for days.
