I actually laughed out loud when i read the posts and the joke comments in here.

Modern music is garbage in general. Music used to be something of a science that people were trained in - typically reserved for those who were in the church, but gradually refined from the time scale of the year 1000 to the late 1600s, where rulers of European districts were able to privately finance musical production as one of the ways to flex and measure cocks with other european rulers (think "my music is better bitch just listen to it" as they would throw lavish parties to impress other rulers). So during this time of the 1700s (mostly in germany) where all this was going down, powerful families of musicians by trade would train their kids in making the best sounding, most elegant, awe inducing music they possibly could. It became something of a science until the 1800s where art took a massive shitty turn from being about making the most beautiful thing possible (that could only result from a lifetime of training, study, and dedication) to where art currently stands which is mainly about sending messages (think beauty is in the eye of the beholder) which i believe to be a complete farce. Today, people think that some splatters of paint a 5 year old could make deserves consideration as art, which is bullshit.

My favorite composer is Bach. If Newton or Einstein could be said to be the best physicists to have ever lived, Bach could be said to be the same for music. He makes objectively great and sophisticated music. Anyone who says he isnt the greatest musical mind to have lived is brainwashed.
