r/relationship_advice is staffed by mods who get hard from stories of adultery. I've seen at least two instances of mods blatantly and publicly asking posters for updates on stories where cheating is involved.

In one, a guy was told to stop posting updates on a situation unless it was confirmed his wife was cheating. There was no room for a final "all is well" update.

In another, a mod urged a user to come back and update on the ongoing fallout from his wife's affair if the child turned out not to be his.

Obviously they favor female adultery, but they take what they can get. So it's not surprising to see your posts getting taken down when you're not a naive young woman with the self respect to move on.

As for the BDSM sub... kinky people don't like hearing that the scene is a magnet for abusers. They'd rather throw a blanket on that and say "that's not REAL kink, you should find a better partner! (like me, hint hint!)" Occasionally the abusers will get kicked out of events if they're not too well known in the local scene, but that won't stop them from either traveling or making use of the internet, the latter being a great way to find fresh new victims who are too nervous to go to events and would really appreciate a "mentor."
