Sorry for the text format, I use reddit on mobile. Anyways hey everyone! I’ve been lurking your page for a while and right now seems like the perfect time to say something. So, for the past 3 and a half months, I’ve been hanging out with a guy (for the sake of this post, his name is Andrew). We get along really well, have similar interests, and great chemistry. A month into hanging out, we started to act more like boyfriend and girlfriend, and it’s continued to be like that till this day (keep in mind, we never asked each other to be in a official relationship). A few days ago, Andrew texted me that he isn’t ready to be in a serious relationship and that he wanted to be honest and upfront about his reasons because he didn’t want to lead me on. personally I am not ready to be in a serious relationship either due to personal reasons (which Andrew understands). We agreed to continue how we normally act around each other (including acting like bf/gf, having sleepovers, going out to different places, having sex) because we are happy/content with our behavior around each other. Also, we agreed we didn’t have to worry about putting a label on us and that we can continue to hang out as usual. While I am happy still hanging out with him, I’ve been having this gut feeling for the past few weeks. It’s the feeling where I know nothing is wrong, but something isn’t right. I just don’t know what that something is. I would like to see y’all’s opinion on how I should approach this gut feeling, and if we should continue with the decision of acting like a gf/bf (without labeling ourselves) thanks! 😊
