Is The Story of Adam and Eve the first example of mansplaining?

I think that the story of Adam and Eve in Paradise says a lot about the nature of men and women.

They were living in the garden of Eden - they were save and had all their physical needs fulfilled. This was enough for Adam. He didn't want anything else out of life than a full stomach, sex ad lib and a soft place to sleep. He didn't mind that everything was taken care of for them and that they were essentially living like children or even like animals.

But Eve wasn't satisfied. She was curious. She wanted knowledge. She wanted to think for herself. She wanted to be free, even if it meant leaving Paradise and be responsible for their own existence, even if it meant the possibility of failure and the shame that follows. She wanted to be a player in the game, not merely a pawn in God's big boardgame. She wanted to grow up and mature and take responsibility for herself. She wanted to evolve.

And ever since men have been blaming women for the harsh reality of life. "Why do I have to do the laundry and mow the lawn when I would much rather play counterstrike?!" They long to live like irresponsible children with free beer, blowjobs and barbecue that someone else cleans up after. They don't want to be made responsible for anything, just mindlessly follow their urges and trust that someone else watch over them, nurse them and protect them from the consequences of their actions.

The expulsion from Eden is like an allegory of women's eternal battle to make men grow up and take responsibility and men blaming women for being such boring drags, nagging old ball and chains, spoilsports, Debbie Downers, for ruining their fun.

Men could not possibly have really thought that babies were only related to their fathers...especially not in relatively multiracial societies like Ancient Rome where there were people with widely varying phenotypes and males were raping their slaves. How dumb do you have to be that you could be a blonde blue eyed dude, you rape your brown-eyed, darker skinned wife or slave, and nine months later the baby comes out with her coloring and facial features. Oh but yeah, that brown baby totally doesn't have any of her bloodline. They just said that to shit on the women who birthed them, fed them, clothed them, and loved them, because they have diseased minds.

That’s a lot of cognitive dissonance in that second comment. Can you imagine? I actually traced my mother’s bloodline and we have been here for over 100,000 years. Can you imagine the women it took to make me? It really made me see my maternal lineage in a whole new light.

About the bible, what do you expect? It was written by men. No surprise there.

This idea of bloodline existed in 13th century up until monarchy was not a secular form of government. And I’m pretty sure some people still believe in that, today. They could try to mansplain everything, but if a woman tries to explain, they throw the evidence on god. I don’t know how it’s possible to dispute that women are the ones to give birth to men. Every species. Every devolution. All the way until we were genderless bacteria. No male has ever carried bloodlines in their uterus. Because they don’t have one. But when is god gonna come down and tell us that a woman was made from a rib cage?
