Me and this girl agreed to meet up tonight to smoke and grab something to eat then came back to my place. I'm relatively new to TRP so I know for a fact I didn't do what I was supposed to. We watched some dumb shows on Netflix and after the first episode I pulled her closer and had my arm around her and we talked more while watching the episode. She didn't resist me pulling her closer and seemed rather into it. She had been laughing at my jokes all night and seemed to be enjoying the date.

For whatever reason I couldn't work the fucking nerve to go in for a kiss. When I took her back to her place, I got out the car to hug her again and went for the kiss there. When I got near her face, she sort of tried to turn and giggle awkwardly. I didn't dwell on it and said "alright catch you later" and left.

Did I simply not escalate enough? If she had no problem with me resting my arm on her, why was she so apprehensive to the kiss at the end? Should I try again and escalate more or just next?
