Hi everyone :)

Just want to say that I am so happy to have found this sub and begin taking no shit from anyone - especially LVM. Thank you all for your advice and support, reading all the posts and comments here has made me alter my old pickme ways.

So, just a background, I am 27, in a good and established career that will take me very far in the future, attractive, socially apt, in shape, very intelligent and a total catch if I do say so myself. I live in a large liberal city and am finding online dating to be a waste of my precious time and very daunting. I've been single pretty much my entire life, and I've been dating for a while, but no luck. This past year I've levelled up my looks and really gone hard to get what I want in my career. I believe I am ready to meet the right man because I'll be a damn good partner. I've met maybe 2 guys in the past 3 years that I would have considered husband material, but I seriously fucked up my chances by investing too much too soon. I know better now.

I'm at the point in my life where I believe I should start looking for the right person to settle down with. I want kids, so this is the main reason I want to get married. If I didn't want to have kids, I'd probably be cool staying single forever.

I'm looking for a man on my level. High caliber, good job, charming, chivalrous, generous, smart and kind (and no baldies). I'm finding that these men are few and far between, especially in this city (the men here are wimps). I went out on a date tonight from CMB with a guy I thought might be a good catch, he ended up splitting the bill, plus he was a total let down in every other way. Lol immediate unmatch. I'm beginning to get discouraged.

Do you ladies have advice on how I can find a HVM whilst not really having options in terms of mutual friends or connections? My family know some guys they could set me up with, but they live on the opposite end of the country and I will never move back there.

Any advice is appreciated!!
