Generally it's me cracking some rediculously bad joke that for whatever odd reason, a guy will find endearing. I just will never be the elegant woman with je ne sais quoi. But... Once I stopped trying to "flirt" and was just myself, I was a lot less awkward and a lot more comfortable in my own skin.

Now, I can absolutely dress up, walk into a room and catch some looks, but the minute I start talking, it's less come hither and more, get over here and sit down cause you're about to laugh your ass off. And that attracts the guys I actually have a good time with and want to be around.

So yeah, do whatever makes you comfortable and won't have you feeling awkward and self conscious and you'll attract the guy who is interested in the actual you. If you're acting and trying to "flirt" you'll look like you're acting and trying to flirt.

I flirt by smiling a lot and standing close to the person I like (but not in a creepy way). Also, eye contact is key. Make sure they see you looking at them but don't look for too long or it'll be too creepy. Look for like 2-3 seconds and then turn around. You could also try touching them slightly. Like maybe a hand on their arm if the vibe is good. Always make sure to read the vibe in the room. Is he being flirty too? Is he smiling back? Blushing maybe? Do you FEEL comfortable? Because I always feel comfortable when I flirt if the guy is going along with it. I never really realized this is how I flirt until last year. But I'm automatically a very flirty person with people I like and feel comfortable around.

I think this requires a lot of... practice. Flirting isn't something you just change over night. Try stuff, see if it's something that you like and how others react to it.
