Iconic, both are really important that all women and ESPECIALLY men watch and understand. If a man ever says a woman should pay, I'd say what Ms Bey always says, "Why should I pay when you will be paid more than me?" And if he tries to use the false "women do lesser paying work", make him watch both videos (even right there on the date, unless it's an elite spot, take it outside) and walk out, cause I'll be damned ever paying because of a LVM.

I recently talked to a man babysitting his LVM boss at a bar and he told me when I was paying for my drinks, "A woman NEVER pays, that is only for a man" and paid, even just because my friends and I (co-ed) hung out with him for the night, he made sure I never opened my purse and never asked for my number or flirted (married with daughter). It was him showing appreciation and respect for my time as a woman and I felt he was making sure to show me to never allow a man to let you pay. Class act.
