I have what I believe may be a problem. I have ambition. I try to squeeze overtime out of my employer for a few extra bucks, I push my numbers in the gym to encourage more growth. This is good.

But what about ambition in dating? I've pulled high 9s in my dating life, and I feel like society would see me as "settling" or not maximizing my potential if I LTR anyone sub-8, i.e. I'm focused on society viewing my woman as a status symbol. It feels really fucking good having a hottie on your arm and you can tell dudes are trying to sneak a peek at her.

I know this is the wrong attitude to have, but I also have a "when you settle for less, you get less" mentality.

Posting here because in non-RP subs I'll just be called shallow... but honestly, dating is a shallow enterprise, and we all see what makes us happy. I like the jealousy and the admiration. I suppose that's vanity?
