Talk less. This one is really difficult for me. Especially avoid talking about mindless things. Make sure that when people talk with you, it is high quality, engaging and memorable. Quality not quantity. I also don’t offer up information or details about myself easily or without reason, better to listen to others. The important thing about this is not to be needing your validation or entertainment from talking, this way you won’t have needy vibes or bore people.

I also do various hobbies and have different groups of people I see, meaning that the same people do not see me and what I do 24/7 and know all my business. Works well to allow you cover for just doing what you want.

I don't think being aloof is a virtue. Learning how to be vulnerable and deprioritize what people think of you is a virtue. Avoid LVM and protect yourself, but don't spend your whole life trying to make sure you don't get hurt at the expense of living and connecting with others.
