what does it mean to be a MAN in today's world.

The same as it's always meant. The only thing that's changed is the shit-tests that society now gives us. But after you pass those shit-tests, you still get rewarded handsomely.

This is a topic in and of itself, but know that feminism is a true godsend to those minority of men who have their shit together. Let me explain.

One of feminism's main goals is to drag down men. And it's succeeding. Take a look around. See all the soyboys and effeminate guys? But the key point is that this is a good thing for you. The more shitty guys around, the better you look. You are always competing against other men.

Imagine if you lived in a world where the average guy bench presses 550lbs, makes $9.4M a year, is 6'4" tall, etc. In that world, you and I would be fucking chumps. We would be desperate incels because we would fall so far below average. Why would even homeless, chain-smoking fat women go for us, when they can all get rich, jacked dudes?

But that's not the world feminism has built. Feminism has severely lowered the bar. In our present world, with all the loser guys we have as competition, getting quality women is massively easier. It's only the guys who have started their RP journey that curse feminism, because they suddenly realized how much they've been/let themselves be victimized.

Once you get your life in order, make good progress on your mission, and lift your fucking face off at the gym for a couple years at least, you'll see that it's never been easier to pull women than in modern times. Even just compared to how things were in the 1990's, it's easily 20x easier to get plates and FWBs today.
