Why texting should be used only for logistics?

Because most guys coming here for advice will step on their own dick more often than not.

Once you've internalized those rules, you can break them in a controlled manner when the context is appropriate.

I almost always never reply to a text, i just call no matter what and usually its just for logistics. Women/workmate also calls me if they want a respond immediately.

Having said that i am perceived as a very busy individual and everyone i know is aware that i dont reply to a text so it means they need to call me. They know that ive got no time for chit chat or the autistic i miss you, good night text.

Aside from reddit i dont have any social media apps, again it makes you mysterious and indifferent. As long as you are not autistic and still aware of whats happening in the world then you are ok not messaging anyone.

Because it lacks the physical element, you cant probe and break the touch barrier which is important. Also texting gives her time to consider her answers when IRL she has to response right away.

More importantly though most guys dont know when to stop texting and just talk the girl out of dating him.

All of those things are okay in small doses. You don't have to act like a robot all the time. Just keep it reasonable to not give the impression that you're giving her all of your time and attention.

Dude, do whatever you enjoy. Not all texts should be "hey let's meet up. 4am at my place"

In a time like this, with our technology, texting is okay. Just like MSN messenger was back in the day.

DO NOT over text though. Also try to use some voice messages, maybe a picture now and then.

I have no problems getting laid, and I text as much as possible with potential lays. Never hurt my capacity to f-close at all.

A good general rule? Perhaps, but I've never been one for it. You find what works for you.
