Waves imply a sense of predictability. Viruses are a living organism that endevour to survive and spread however possible. Variables involving people and how they act and react. Not to mention environmental conditions. Masks will only slow it down but it won't stop it. The virus survives on some surfaces moreso than others, and despite the claims of hot weather being harmful to the virus, it seems to be spreading well enough in hot places like brazil and Mexico. Our whole way of living is like a forest during a drought before fires start. Some places were better prepared than others on how to deal with it but sadly no matter how well prepared, there's always something unforseen and unexpected that will happen. Never forget Murphy's law, EVERYTHING THAT CAN GO WRONG WILL GO WRONG. Including when, not if the virus mutates into something worse.
