People talk a lot about developing a DGAF mindset. The truth is that it isn't something you can just turn on in your head. DGAF is developed through lots and lots of rejection and especially by approaching in very difficult scenarios and realizing that the end result is not even 5% as bad as you would imagine. What you need to do is make approaching attractive women a part of your identity. Practice meditating and repeating to yourself "I am a man that approaches attractive women" and when you go out and cold approach, your actions will re-program your mind. Whenever you get approach anxiety or see a hot girl you want to talk to you'll remember that "I am a man that approaches attractive women" and you'll do the approach because not doing it would go against your identity. The goal of cold approaching is to get good enough to the point where you're able to chat up any girl with ease and get her to reciprocate. Once you start approaching you'll realize that there's so many factors that determine a successful interaction not even including the open, such as eye contact, vocal tonality, posture, verbal engagement, qualifying, etc. These are all smaller details that you might not even be aware of when you're talking to a girl. However, the only way to improve is to keep approaching and reviewing your approaches to see what you could have done better (made stronger eye contact, talk slower, etc.) You want to keep doing this until it becomes second nature. So keep approaching and practice affirmations to build your frame. The beliefs you have about yourself are the most important factor in the way you communicate with people, so practice positive affirmations that build your self confidence.
