When I got my first place, yeah it looked like this for a few months. But guess what, I was king of the castle! No nagging. No frilly shit. I paid for it with my own hard earned money. I also saved up to get some decent furniture, and refused to go into debt / rack up a credit card bill. Later on, I bought a house in cash. Didn't waste money on stupid shoes, purses, or a useless liberal college degree.

I used to rent a small house with 3 other guys. Our living room looked almost exactly like this. Just a couch and a TV — all a guy really needs. So many good times...

I actually keep a large chunk of Himalayan salt in double plant pots, one with a hole and one without. It's a great dehumidifier. I live in an are where the humidity is normally above 80% in the summer. I stick it on a counter and dump the water every couple of days.
